Crisis Information. - 9.00PM - Azrael

Sierra has closed down Yosemite Entertainment, the makers of the Babylon 5 Combat Simulation, and moved all production to their Washington offices. Only a few of the staff are being offered a place in Washington but that does not include the ones that cant go because of personal reasons (family, etc).
There was a meeting a few days ago for all the team and it looks like the whole team has now been offered a place in Washington, but again, only if they can leave and move to washington.

Hmmm..... as you can see things look buggered up. Check out the B5 Forum on the official Babylon 5 Simulation page.

Sorry for lack of updates. There seems to be a crisis. - 1.00PM - Asmodai

It seems that a few developers for the Babylon 5 Combat Simulater have been fired.... if what I have read is true. The future creation of the game is shakey and it may be cancelled.

There is a petition at [email protected] to make sure that nothing happens, but I have so little information down in my cave that I cant keep track. I'll put more up when I find it.

Name confirmation, and new page - 10.00PM - Asmodai

Me and Azrael have been in contact with the Vengeance fleet and I can safely say that:

"The new official name is the Dark Angels 1st Assault Wing!"

Cool, heh?

Also I have added the history of the Dark Angels 1st in the Legacy page. In it you will find our current political standing and aim. This is subject to change at any moment but it is safe to say we are not like you would imagine ; )

Allience? - 3.50PM - Asmodai

We were recently asked whether or not we would like to join the Inter Steller Allience. We are considering this, but are unsure whether this would comprimise our independance... Anyway, it is still being discussed between me and Azrael.

I have placed a link to their site on the Beacon page.

Also it is all but certain that we will be called the Dark Angels 1st Assault Wing. It's a long title I know, but just think what it could mean. A squadron of rock 'ard pilots taking out Capital Ships..... I like it.

The leader speaks... - 1.00AM - Azrael

Just wanted to say a quick hello to all members. I am Joseph Bayley (Azrael) and this is my first bit of news i have posted yet!!! All I really wanted to say is that we now have a message board up in the Comm. Link section of the site (YAY!!!) so feel free to use it. I am moderating it so please be carfull what you say and please watch the language. And Asmodai was correct, Hawk is my Uncle.

Yeah, a new member! This squadron is growing fast. Anyway, welcome Hawk who is coincidently Azrael's uncle (me thinks). As always, details can be found on the Earth Force page.

Possible new name - 8.00AM - Asmodai

The Dark Angels may just rename to the Dark Angels 1st Assault Wing. This will mean no change of graphics but our name will still be different. Pretty cool, huh?

Also sorry for lack of updates and the page being down. Our host Fortune City had to upgrade its systems or something like that, but we are up now!

Another new member! - 2.00AM - Asmodai

Welcome to Dizzy! Our newest member from way up near Glasgo. May your service be rewarding. Details, as ever, can be found on the Earth Force page.

Also, it seems that the skin found on the new Related Files page will be our official one, for now at least. This is kinda cool as it was my first attemp at something like that. Now all we are waiting for is the game, and the release date may be pushed back as far as September! Now thats gotta hurt.

Well we have a new addition to the Dark Angels (new name pending)! Welcome to Lemartes! May you have a long and successful career in our ranks. Details are on the Earth Force page.

On another note, there is still no deffinate skin or new name. I will be talking with Azrael later tonight to fix that, but thanks to all who have shown interest and suggestions.

I have added two new pages since yesterday, Related Files and the Squadron Lists. hope you like them ; )

Small update, and a new name? - 7.00PM - Asmodai

Well I have gone throughout the page and changes Azrael's E-Mail address to his new one. Also Azrael has started doing the graphics needed for the medals etc. on the Officers page.

Oh the subject of the new name, it is possible that we will start calling our selves the Blood Angels. This means I will  have to re-do some of the graphics and maybe even the short cut address. I wish we saw this problem earlier. Anyway, life must go on!

A new member, but also some bad news... - 1.00PM - Asmodai

We have a new member! Well, actuly he joined ages ago but I had none of his details. My bad. Welcome Ninja! His details are on the Earth Force page.

As well as this good news, I have some bad aswell. It seems that there is already a Squadron called the Dark Angels. Now this means I will need to change the whole site and graphics to fit the new name. Thing is we have no idea what to call our selfs. If you have any ideas, please contact either Me or Azrael.

Since the inital opening I have decided to add a few more nifty things. These are a web counter down the side of each page and some new graphics in the Earth Force section. I hope you people enjoy, and lets make the first ever UK Babylon 5 Squadron the best.... New Site Online! - 6.00PM - Asmodai

Well this is it! Welcome to the Dark Angels new home page! We are are small band of games players who are currently awaiting the arrival of the Babylon 5 Combat Simulation, an space combat game based on the award winning series Babylon 5.

This squadron is set up for UK players only, so if you live in the United Kingdom and want to kick some ass, contact Azrael and we'll see what we can do ; )

This site only has a few pages operational at the moment, but expect to see a lot more in the near future.
